Our dedicated College Wellbeing Team 鈥� which includes the Deputy Principal 好色先生TV, Director of 好色先生TV, Heads of House and the College Counsellors 鈥� provides ongoing and proactive support for both students and parents.
Our House System
When starting at 好色先生TV, each student is welcomed into one of our four Houses 鈥� Cassia, Dianella, Kurrajong or Waratah. 好色先生TV will then be supported by our Heads of House, House Group Teachers and student leaders throughout their time at the College.聽
Through our House System, we enable students to develop lasting relationships across all year levels, providing a familial, secure and supportive environment for every 好色先生TV student. The House System fosters a strong sense of belonging as students engage in the many activities and celebrations throughout the year.聽
House Groups are a smaller group of students from the same House that meet with the same House Group Teacher each day. In Years 7, 8 and 9, a House Group will consist of students from the same year level to allow students the opportunity to forge friendships in their junior years. In Years 10, 11 and 12, House Groups consist of students from all three senior year levels to allow connection to form across cohorts.

Counselling
Adolescence can bring exciting growth as well as challenges, and at 好色先生TV College we want every student to feel supported through all of it. Our Counselling service is available to all students, offering a safe, confidential and respectful space to talk through concerns, build coping strategies and feel more confident in their learning and daily life.
We know that strong support networks make a real difference, so our Counsellors also work in partnership with parents, teachers and friends to help strengthen the connections that matter most to each student.
好色先生TV come to counselling for many reasons, including family changes, friendship concerns, trouble sleeping due to worry, or feeling anxious or sad. No matter the issue, our Counsellors are here to listen and help students navigate challenges with care and understanding.
All information shared with the 好色先生TV College Counsellors is treated with confidentiality, with the exception of situations where disclosure is required to ensure a student鈥檚 safety and wellbeing.
The Counselling team also works with students across all year levels, providing engaging sessions on topics such as friendships, body image, managing stress during critical times, and prioritising demands.
Friendship Labs
The 好色先生TV Counselling Team facilitates Friendship Lab workshops for our Year 7 and 8 students, supporting them as they navigate the social changes and experiences that come with adolescence. A key focus of the workshops is helping students understand the difference between friendship conflict, mean-on-purpose behaviour and bullying, empowering them to respond appropriately and seek support when needed.聽
During the workshops, students engage in meaningful discussions around kindness, respect, inclusion and the importance of healthy boundaries, while also learning practical strategies for managing friendship challenges and conflict.
Year 7 Transition
The move from primary to secondary school is an exciting milestone and at 好色先生TV College our new Year 7 students are warmly welcomed into the next stage of their educational journey. Our Transition Program is designed to help students build friendships and develop a strong sense of belonging from the very beginning.
Transition begins in Grade 6, with members of our Wellbeing Team visiting incoming students at their primary schools. 好色先生TV then attend an Orientation Day at 好色先生TV in November, and families are invited to a Welcome Evening to help them feel prepared for the year ahead.
At the start of the school year, Year 7 students enjoy a dedicated Transition Day, where they and the Year 12 students are the only ones on campus. This time allows students to get to know each other, explore the campus, learn about their new lockers and timetables, and discover the exciting House activities they can be a part of.聽
Each Year 7 student is paired with a Year 12 Buddy from their House. They receive a welcome letter before school begins and take part in several fun buddy activities throughout the year.
One of the biggest differences between primary school and secondary school is the timetable. At 好色先生TV College, we have a six-period day that operates on a ten-day cycle 鈥� which means that Week A classes are different to Week B classes. You can view an example of a Year 7 timetable below:
Restorative Practice
In recognising that challenges may arise during a student's time with us, we adopt an intentional and community-first approach to behavioural consequences, with the goal of supporting every girl, every day. At its heart, the Restorative Practice approach embeds the belief that in respecting ourselves, we learn to respect others.
Through this lens, accountability for our actions becomes natural character traits for all 好色先生TV students. Rather than adopting a punitive approach to student wrongdoing, we emphasise connection 鈥� working with the student in an age-appropriate way, so that they better understand the impact of their behaviour. The key outcomes of a restorative approach is that聽students understand the impact of their behaviour and the relationship is restored.
